About the CLM Alliance

The Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) is an inclusive, collaborative organization that promotes and furthers the highest standards of claims and litigation management and brings together the thought leaders in both industries. CLM’s Members and Fellows include risk and litigation managers, insurance and claims professionals, corporate counsel, outside counsel and third party vendors. The CLM sponsors educational programs, provides resources and fosters communication among all in the industry.

The mission of the Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance is to further the disciplines through:
  • Collaboration - Convergence of resources to develop uniform claims and litigation management principles, increase awareness and further ethical standards.
  • Education - Provide extensive, affordable training and educational opportunities to create a better awareness and expertise of claims and litigation and the management thereof.
  • Communication - Foster communication between all parties - risk managers, claims managers and adjusters, general counsel, insurance company executives, attorneys, brokers and service providers.
  • Inclusion - Include all individuals and companies who participate in claims, litigation and the management thereof. Encompass, promote and advocate diversity throughout the CLM, our membership and member companies and firms.
  • Dedication - Dedicated to the principles and practices of claims and litigation management.
  • Identification - Identify, train and certify attorneys and law firms.
