Biography

Brian D. Erickson, M.S., P.E., RRC, holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering – Building Systems and is a registered Professional Engineer in 9 states.

Brian’s expertise includes building enclosure systems, roofing, waterproofing, air and moisture control, and building sciences. He has consulted on a wide-array of projects across the nation, with services including technical peer reviews, specialized building performance testing, forensic evaluations of enclosure and waterproofing systems, and repair design and project management on buildings ranging from medical training facilities to 53-story curtain wall systems. Brian also serves as a technical consultant to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regarding building air tightness and test protocols.

Mr. Erickson presents nationally on air barriers, roofing, waterproofing, and moisture control to the insurance, design, and construction industries and has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals and construction trade publications.
