The Curriculum
This comprehensive program is comprised of progressive levels. For more detail on each level, please view the complete learning objectives.
Year 1
Provides a solid knowledge base and everyday skills revolving around adjusting residential and commercial property claims.
Upon successful completion of the final exam students may advance to Year2.
Year 2
Prerequisite: Property Claims Year 1
Advanced topics covering complex residential/HOPD claims, commercial claims, joint loss issues and wind and flood claims
Focused on case-studies which include large loss claim issues, investigation, and the utilization of experts, as well as an in-depth review of good faith claims handling practices.
This course is taught in person. Upon successful completion of the final exam, students will earn their CCP designation.
Certified Claims Professional Designation
Upon completion of all levels, you will earn the Certified Claims Professional (CCP) designation in Property Claims, including a digital badge to showcase your accomplishment. Earning this designation sets up apart from your peers and signals your expertise to your manager or prospective employer.
Claims College only happens once a year. Enrollment is limited to ensure optimal student-instructor ratios.
