This will explore the claims management process and all of the interdependent professional relationships involved in ensuring equitable outcomes. Panelists will discuss the importance of how and when to select the right experts and the importance of selecting diverse defense counsel and mediators. The cultural competency level of the attorney guiding case strategy and the ability of the mediator to convey accurate messaging is paramount in negotiation or trial phases. Attendees will hear an engaging, informative conversation about how the resolution process in marginalized communities often has disparate results. Perspectives will be shared on considerations for identifying categories of diverse professionals. The goal is to inspire strategic use of experts and intentional use of diverse legal and ADR professionals to enrich the claims management and resolution experience for all involved.
