This presentation will address three important recent developments in Colorado insurance law and how each may affect claim handling: (1) Colorado’s new liability insurance disclosure law for automobile insurers; (2) the Colorado Supreme Court’s 2019 Dakota Station II opinion and impartiality in appraisal; and, (3) the Colorado Court of Appeals’ 2019 Bolt Factory Lofts opinion and the effect on an insurer’s ability to intervene in an underlying lawsuit
