CLM Bermuda's annual round-table event will focus on the relationship between the reinsurer and cedent from the perspective of claims handlers and legal professionals from both sides.  The discussion will cover general principles governing reinsurance agreements and the obligations of both the reinsurer and cedent thereunder. The speakers will touch upon common issues that arise in the context of claims such as privilege issues and access to information, subjects of common dispute, potential conflicts of interests when reinsuring multiple cedents and claims handlers' best practices for maintaining solid relationships with reinsurers.
