Your donation of a new toy, book, gift card or monetary donation of $10.00 or more to The Children's Assessment Center earns you a raffle ticket to our drawing for a gift card or an iPad Mini.  Please see the “Gift Ideas 2015” in the Details Section for ideas on what to bring.  Attire for the Holiday Party is business casual.     The Children’s Assessment Center is grateful that we’re sponsoring a toy/gift drive for the children that they serve.  “The CAC is dedicated to providing a multidisciplinary team approach in the prevention, assessment, investigation and treatment of child sexual abuse with a mission to provide a professional, compassionate and coordinated approach to the treatment of sexually abused children and their families and to serve as an advocate for all children in our community.”  http://cachouston.org/  The CAC is located in Rice Village.  The following is a message from Merri Hahn, their Children’s Services Coordinator:   “What an honor to be your charity of choice! Thank you so much for this opportunity! We strive every year to serve more children during the holiday season than the last. Thanks to people and companies like yourself we are able to do a little more each year.   As for the toy drive, we would love all toys, children’s books, gift cards, and cash. We do ask donors to remember some of our middle school and high school kids. We serve ages 0-17 years here at The Children's Assessment Center. We do take gently used donations as well. This can be clothes, toys, blankets, trinkets, and books. Throughout the year we have many people that drop those by for us to keep our Rainbow Room full. This room allows us to fill the daily needs of children that come into the CAC that may not have clean clothes, toiletries, etc.   I want to express my deepest appreciation for your generous offer to host a toy drive.
