Celebrate Mardi Gras with your local CLM Chapter at Ragin’ Cajun on Richmond Ave. The Greater Houston CLM Chapter will host a Seminar that will examine Emerging Property Damage issues. With significant property damage events such as hailstorms and hurricanes, Texas property damage issues have become increasingly complex over the past decade. This seminar will educate claims handlers and legal professionals with regard to trends in property damage litigation and methods to employ in an effort to avoid bad faith discovery.  In particular, attendees will learn about the issues facing carriers with respect to cosmetic property damage and the fairly recent addition of cosmetic damage policy endorsements.  In addition, attendees will learn about the methods they may use in litigation as a more aggressive way of avoiding costly bad faith discovery and/or obtaining summary judgment on bad faith claims.
