Scott is the Co-Owner of Social Detection, Inc and has over twenty years of experience in insurance investigations. Social Detection, Inc is a unique People Search Engine that Finds, Filters, and Organizes information. Social Detection, Inc also offers a Concierge Report Service for select clients that utilize our Social Media Internet Analysts and find information on their claim files. Scott is a graduate of Rowan University and has worked with Kroll/InPhoto Surveillance and Titan Investigative Alliance.
Mr. Catron previously created the "Gotcha! Deep Internet Search". A unique manual search algorithm utilized to find data about a person on public internet sites including social network profiles, criminal records, civil records, property records, motor vehicles, new articles and much more. The all-encompassing profile is a cost effective tool that reduces claims exposure and claims costs.
Mr. Catron is a CEU Instructor in Florida, Delaware and Georgia and has presented "Internet Investigations - Deep Internet Mining" and "Using Technology To Investigate Insurance Fraud" courses at numerous venues including RIMS Nationals Conference, claims associations, insurance carriers, Fortune 500 companies, Third Party Administers and insurance fraud conferences including FIFEC.
Mr. Catron is affiliated with the Central Jersey Claims Association, the South Jersey Claims Association, the Delaware Claims Association, both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Self-Insurers' Associations.

James Farley

James is a Senior Associate in the Scottsdale, Arizona office with extensive experience litigating matters and negotiating settlements in a wide variety of industries.  Born and raised in Arizona, James concentrates his practice on general commercial litigation matters, insurance coverage disputes, construction defect, intellectual property/trade secret issues, employment law, as well as acting as outside general counsel for numerous businesses.  James has represented numerous individuals and entities associated with a variety of industries including mining, trucking, land development, general contracting, information technology, as well as franchisees for national restaurant chains.

James has assisted various clients in resolving claims in front of MSHA and other regulatory agencies.  As litigation counsel as well as outside general counsel, James has aided clients in various employment related issues including buyout agreements, negotiations of severance packages, compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as enforcement of non-compete clauses. 
Prior to joining Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson, James obtained a degree from the University of Arizona in Management Information Systems and worked as a consultant in the field of Information Technology.  He graduated with his law degree from The John Marshall Law School (Chicago) in 2008. James clerked for MBT during law school and has worked here since graduation.  James is admitted to practice in Arizona, United States Courts of Appeals (Ninth Circuit), and United States District Court (District of Arizona).

James has over 25 years of experience in Commercial and Personal Lines Claims Investigation and Management. He currently manages a 17 State Region, specializing in Commercial General Liability, Premises Liability, Products Liability, Liquor Liability/Dram Shop, Commercial Auto and Construction Defect claims.Prior to joining Engle Martin, James was a Claims Manager and Litigation Specialist with Travelers Insurance Company and the Chicago Motor Club Insurance Company for 18 years.James has a B.A. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, in Political Science/Pre-Law. He currently is a licensed adjuster in several jurisdictions and is an active participant in the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance.

Richard Righi

Since 1996, Mr. Righi's practice has concentrated on representing individuals, contractors and businesses in tort and contract litigation, primarily in the areas of construction defects, complex litigation, general liability, personal injury, product liability and insurance bad faith.

Mr Righi began trying cases in 1993 as a Deputy Maricopa County Attorney. He has tried over 50 cases to verdict in courts throughout the State of Arizona. His trials have involved a wide variety of issues: vehicular homicide in his early experience as a prosecutor; a variety of significant injury cases; lost profits resulting from product defect; a construction defect trial involving the catastrophic failure of Northland Pioneer College in Holbrook, Arizona; and the total destruction of a residence in Sedona, Arizona due to the alleged diversion of flood waters. He achieved defense verdicts and cost awards in favor of his clients in his three latest trials. In addition, Mr. Righi successfully defended a single family construction defect case in a AAA fast-track Arbitration in 2010. 

Mr. Righi defends owners, developers and general contractors in complex construction defect matters. Mr. Righi represents the interests of clients at the request of national insurance carriers and understands how to effectively manage insurance defense litigation. Mr. Righi has expertise in managing the prosecution of third-party litigation on behalf of owners, developers, and general contractors and understands how to effectively pursue primary and additional insurance coverage for his clients. Mr. Righi has experience pursuing equitable contribution on behalf of insurance carriers and has expertise defending insurance bad faith issues that arise from complex litigation including defect and toxic tort litigation. In addition to his trial experience, Mr. Righi has taken significant cases to binding arbitration, pursued cases to judgment to secure payment on behalf of his clients and argued before the Arizona Court of Appeals.

Chang's Restaurants, where he leads the Risk Management function.  Mr. Shirley has over 27 years of Risk and Claim Management experience.  Prior to joining P.F. Chang's he was Director of Global Claims & Litigation Management for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.  Mr. Shirley has a BS degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance from Brigham Young University.  He is an active participant and member of various risk and claim management organizations.
