Joshua R. Schwartz is General Counsel, Secretary and Regional Compliance Officer for ACE Bermuda Insurance Ltd. His responsibilities include providing legal advice on professional lines, excess liability, property and reinsurance claims; participating in mediations, arbitrations and other litigation; counseling underwriters on policy wording and reinsurance (fac and treaty) wording; assisting with new insurance product development; ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations; and providing advice on risk management issues. He sits on the ACE Bermuda Risk, Management Audit, Reserving, Pension and Investment Committees. Josh is also a founder and the president of CLM Bermuda.Josh joined ACE INA in 2006 as Associate General Counsel - Litigation in New York, where he worked on corporate litigation, including the contingent commission/alleged bid-rigging litigation and regulatory matters, and internal investigations. Prior to joining ACE, he worked as Counsel at O'Melveny & Myers LLP representing clients on a variety matters, including insurance, securities, white collar, mass tort, pharmaceutical, bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He also worked as an Associate at Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson and as Law Clerk to the Hon. Federico A. Moreno, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. While practicing law in New York, Josh taught a mediation course at New York University School of Continuing and Professional Services. He graduated Order of the Coif from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Rhode Island. In law school, Josh served as Notes Editor for the Cardozo Law Review.

Daren S. McNally maintains a practice that is intensely focused on insurance coverage litigation and counseling, with an emphasis in complex insurance and reinsurance litigation, trials and arbitrations in both domestic and foreign arenas. As a broadly experienced insurance coverage practitioner, he represents insurers and reinsurers based in the United States, Europe and Bermuda in every aspect of insurance coverage in both the third-party liability and first-party property contexts. Daren represents domestic and foreign insurers in a wide variety of insurance-related matters, including general insurance coverage, excess liability claims, directors and officers liability, long-tail claims, such as asbestos, environmental and other toxic torts, construction defect, bad faith/extra-contractual claims, reinsurance matters, product liability, life and disability insurance, group health claims, and catastrophic loss.

Daren began his legal career in New York City with the law firm of O'Melveny & Myers LLP. He joined Connell Foley in 1995 before moving on to Clyde & Co US in 2010 where he works with in the Insurance Practice Group.

During his law school career, Daren served as the Articles Editor for the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal. He also interned with the Honorable Leonard I. Garth of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Jed D. Melnick, Esq. is a Panelist at JAMS and the Managing Partner of Weinstein Melnick LLC, working alongside the Hon. Daniel Weinstein (Ret.), one of the nation's preeminent mediators of complex civil disputes.

Jed has been involved in the mediation and successful resolution of hundreds of complex disputes with an aggregate value in the billions of dollars. He has mediated over 750 disputes, published articles on mediation, founded the nationally ranked Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution and taught young mediators. Mr. Melnick serves as a mediator, appointed by Judge Kaplan, in the Lehman ADR Derivative Contract Program.

Frank J. Brier was graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington DC in 1994.  Following graduation, he returned to Pennsylvania and served as law clerk to the Hon. S. John Cottone in the Lackawanna County, Court of Common Pleas.  Mr. Brier has spent the past sixteen years as a trial lawyer litigating in Pennsylvania state and federal courts.  He specializes in defending health care providers in complex cases.  In 2006, Mr. Brier joined Geisinger System Services as General Counsel and Litigation Counsel where he serves currently. He has been selected a Pennsylvania Super lawyer in the area of medical malpractice defense.  He lectures frequently on health care legal topics including professional liability, electronic medical records and fraud and abuse/anti kick back litigation.   Geisinger is a an integrated health services organization widely recognized for its innovative use of the electronic health record, and the development and implementation of innovative care models including advanced medical home and ProvenCare® program. Peggy Klecha is the Director of Risk Management at Pocono Health System located in the Pennsylvania Poconos. Peggy’s 30 year career in hospital risk management has included employment at several hospital systems in the four corners of Pennsylvania----Lancaster General Hospital, Medical College of Pennsylvania, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, and West Penn Hospital. Peggy has enjoyed the variety of roles that fall under a Risk Manager’s realm—risk financing, multi-line insurance procurement, risk prevention, risk identification, risk trending, claims investigation, claims settlement, risk management education as well as other responsibilities that fall under the role of liaison with insurance brokers and outside defense counsel. In 1995, Peggy was instrumental in creating and managing Lancaster General Hospital’s Captive insurance company and experienced its 10 year growth to be the second largest company in the hospital system’s family. Over the years, Peggy has enjoyed successful settlements with patients in strict liability claims without attorney involvement. She has been responsible for creating many written policies and procedures related to outside regulatory agency rules and regulations.

Peggy has lectured on risk management topics on a local, state and national basis. She served as Past President of the Central PA Association for Healthcare Risk Management.

Peggy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Planning & Administration from Penn State University and her Master’s in Public Health from University of Pittsburgh. She is a Fellow in the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Central PA Association for Healthcare Risk Management. She also holds an inactive PA Nursing Home Administrator’s license.
