Michael A. Callinan is a partner with Bruno, Gerbino & Soriano, LLP. His practice includes the
defense of general liability claims, motor vehicle negligence claims, premises liability claims,
commercial litigation claims, insurance coverage disputes
claims. In addition, he represents various insurers in declaratory judgment actions and in
affirmative actions to recoup noclinics.
Prior to joining Bruno, Gerbino & Soriano, LLP., Mr. Callinan interned for the Port Authority of
New York and New Jersey in the New York Litigation Department. Mr. Callinan provided
support for general liability claims, premises liability claims and did extensive work and research
pertaining to personal injury claims and businesses interruption claims as a result of the 1993
World Trade Center bombing.
Michael A. Callinan was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 2003, and the United
State District Court for the Eastern
He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Hofstra University School of Law in 2002. While a
student at Hofstra, Mr. Callinan was a member of the Robert F. Wagner National Labor &
Employment Law Moot Court Team and also Vi
Callinan received a Master of Arts Degree in Public Policy from SUNY at Stony Brook in 1999.
His Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science was conferred upon him, Cum Laude, by
SUNY Stony Brook in 1998.

Paul Devine, a partner in Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady 's Garden City office, has over 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer and has recorded more than 100 verdicts in state and federal courts. He has successfully defended owners and contractors in construction work site accidents, railroad accidents, and catastrophic injury cases. Paul has experience in defending public and school transportation providers in municipal liability, product liability, and civil rights claims, and he represented the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing Cases. He continues to represent the Port Authority and contractors in matters involving workplace accidents at the World Trade Center.He appears frequently in the Appellate Divisions of New York's First and Second Judicial Departments, successfully arguing appeals in those courts. He is the past Chairman of the Trial Lawyers' Section of the Nassau County and Suffolk County Bar Associations and is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI). Mr. Egner is a 30 year SIU and Claims Professional with Analytic and Management Experience. He has created and managed SIU Departments delivering superior and measured results to the SIU and Claims Departments and consistently exceeded goals in areas such as Claims and Vendor management savings.
Mr Egner is with Farmers Insurance as a National Medical Team Investigator for the past 8 1/2 years . Mr. Egner conducts Complex Medical Provider Investigations arising from staged losses and organized crime rings. Mr. Egner is tasked in this role with Analyzing Medical and Claims Data to find patterns and current trends of Medical Provider Fraud and to make recommendations to management on potential avenues of Affirmative Civil Litigation. Mr. Egner is also tasked with training his Claims Partners and Staff Attorneys on Complex Medical Provider Investigations.. Mr. Egner is often called upon to create and conduct Training Programs for his Claims, Legal, SIU and Underwriting Partners.
He is President of NYSSIU- NYS Chapter of IASIU-where the mission is provide quality insurance fraud education to its members.
Mr Egner has obtained the FCLS-Fraud Claim Law Specialist designation and the CFE -Certified Fraud Examiner-Designations.
Mr Egner has been a Speaker on Investigator and Analyst Role in a Medical Provider Investigation at IASIU 2014.A Speaker on the Effective Use of EUO in your Fraud Investigations at IASIU 2017. He was a speaker at IASIU 2018 in Vienna, Austria,where he spoke on US Fraud Trends and the Use of Analytics in your Fraud Investigations,. He was a recent speaker at IASIU 2019 on The Two Prong Approach to Effective Medical Provider Investigations .
Mr. Egner is a Member of the Board of Directors for NYACT and the NY Alliance Against Insurance Fraud . Mr Egner is the current Vice President -CLM-NY Long Island Chapter.

Karen Saab-Dominguez is a highly experienced attorney and a leader in the firm’s General Liability and Transportation groups. Karen has a wealth of experience representing trucking companies and truck drivers in accident-related claims alleging personal injury, catastrophic loss, and property damage. She is a member the firm-wide 24/7 Rapid Response and OSHA Rapid Response groups for trucking and construction clients, and is a frequent lecturer on emerging legal trends and other topics of interest within these industries. Karen is also a member of the firm’s Women in Trucking team and serves as co-chair of CLM’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Before joining Goldberg Segalla, Karen spent six years as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York, prosecuting domestic violence, child abuse, sex crimes cases. During her time at the District Attorney’s office, she gained invaluable trial experience, which included trying approximately three felony cases to verdict before a jury, trying misdemeanor cases, presenting approximately 200 to 300 cases to the grand jury, and handling approximately 30 to 40 sex-offender risk assessment hearings.
Prior to her time in the District Attorney’s office, Karen worked with Sanctuary for Families, the leading nonprofit in New York State dedicated exclusively to serving victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking and their children. During her time with Sanctuary, she tried 15 to 20 family court matters to verdict

Diane Stephens is currently Director of Excess and Transportation Programs for Triton Claim Management. She was previously the President of United Claims Service, Inc. out of Babylon, New York. Prior, she served as an Assistant Vice President at Allied World in Excess Casualty for two years, and was a Division Claims Manager with Lancer Insurance Company for 22 years, where she managed high exposure Commercial Motor Vehicle cases and specialized in trucking, buses, and limousine losses as well as being a part of an Immediate Response team. She also provided risk management training, and participated in multiple industry trade shows. In earlier claim roles, Ms. Stephens worked at Progressive Insurance as a Casualty Specialist/Casualty Team Leader, and she started her insurance career at Liberty Mutual Insurance handling multiple lines.
Diane was part of the leadership team of the Long Island Claims Litigation Management Alliance, serving as President. She is also a member of CLM's Alternative Dispute Resolution team. Diane was a proud member of the inaugural class at CLM's School of Transportation and has earned the designation of ACP. She is now a CLM faculty member, and has spoken at numerous conferences and events on a variety of topics that affect our industry today.
