Adam's practice also focuses on medical malpractice, including the defense of medical doctors, nurses and skilled nursing facilities. Daley, III, is president and senior mechanical engineer with CED, he holds over 15 years of a distinguished background in such areas as safety operations, operation of mechanical devices and naval operations as a retired U.S. Navy commander. Mr. Daley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Science degree from the Naval Postgraduate School. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining CED, Mr. Daley was the Director of Manufacturing for a custom builder of precision cleaning and plastic bonding machinery. During his 20 years of experience in the Navy, he was responsible for the repair and operation of shipboard weapons systems, steam propulsion plants, electrical plants and their supporting auxiliary equipment. Addition-ally, he was a master instructor and Associate Chairman in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the U.S. Naval Academy.

In early 2004 he transferred to the New York office where he is now a Partner, and responsible for the RGL NY office. Robert “Bobby” Shannon, Jr. is a trial lawyer known for taking difficult cases at the last moment and achieving excellent results for clients. Bobby has tried 62 cases nationwide and has successfully handled billion-dollar cases. Since 2003, he has been hired into more than 100 cases as lead counsel just weeks before trial and has achieved client wins in nearly all of them.
Bobby’s experience runs the gamut of business litigation. He has handled commercial and contract disputes, product liability, mass torts and multidistrict litigation, professional liability, and other complex matters that present high exposure and significant risk to his clients.
Prior to his trial career, Bobby transferred from the active duty Air Force to the Reserve Component to attend law school. For 27 years, he served concurrently to building his trial practice, until retiring in 2017 with the rank of Major General. In his last assignment, Bobby was dual hatted as the Assistant to the Commander, 25th Air Force (Joint Base San Antonio) and Mobilization Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force (A2) for Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (Pentagon). The A2 reports to the Director of National Intelligence and Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence.

In 2007, Brett A. Steele joined Beazer Homes in Atlanta and currently serves as Compliance Officer and Senior Counsel. In that role at one of the largest homebuilders in the United States, Mr. Steele has broad responsibility for legal affairs across the company, including managing litigation, HR/employment, and ethics training and compliance. He reports directly to the General Counsel and CEO, providing strategic direction to outside counsel as well as junior attorneys and paralegals.
From 2004 until he joined Beazer, Mr. Steele held in-house positions with General Electric (2004-2005) and Siemens Energy & Automation (2005-2007). From 1999 – 2004, he was an attorney with King & Spalding, an 800+ attorney international law firm based in Atlanta.
Mr. Steele received his undergraduate education at Huntingdon College and his legal education at the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Mercer Law Review. After graduating from law school, Mr. Steele completed a two-year clerkship with the Hon. Frank G. Taylor was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1950. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Emory University in 1972. In 1975, he received his Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University.
Mr. Taylor has been a civil litigator for over 32 years in the areas of insurance coverage litigation (where he has represented major carriers), education law, environmental law, business litigation and construction litigation. He has defended class action lawsuits involving thousands of claimants. He has also assisted clients with the negotiation of consent decrees with the United States Department of Justice, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Alabama Department of Environmental Management. Mr. Taylor has also been involved in over 75 appeals before the Alabama Supreme Court and the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Taylor has served as the President of the Alabama Council of School Board Attorneys and as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Alabama State Tenure Commission.
