James Sarrail

Biography

 JAMES A. SARRAIL graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois with a B.A. degree in 1965. He received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco, San Francisco, California in 1968. As an AV rated (Martindale-Hubbell) and Super Lawyer, Mr. Sarrail is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, United States Supreme Court, United States District Court, Northern, Eastern Southern, and Central Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. He is a former faculty member and lecturer in insurance and business law at Golden gate University in San Francisco and has served as a judicial arbitrator for the San Francisco and San Mateo County Superior Courts. His background in civil litigation and trial is extensive. He has acted a a Judicial Arbitrator and Mediator for the counties of San Francisco and San Mateo. Mr. Sarrail is a member of the State Bar of California, San Mateo County Bar Association, Pacific Property Claims Association, Northern California Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, and the Claims Litigation Management Alliance.
