Christopher Riggs

Biography

Chris Riggs is the AVP - Managing Director of the Florida Region for Crawford & Company Claims Services.  Crawford & Company is the world’s largest publicly traded provider of third party insurance solutions to insurance companies and self-insured entities.Chris is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.Chris has been with Crawford & Company over 10 years and has held a variety of successive roles within the claims field.  A majority of Chris’ experience has been within the management of first party homeowner’s losses, commercial claims, catastrophe claims, and various types of liability claims.
As the Managing Director for the Florida Region, he is responsible for oversight of the property and casualty claims field services provided within the state of Florida including management of the staff, fostering relationships with both existing and prospective clients, and serving as the primary representative of Crawford for his territory. Chris is currently a board member with the Orlando Claims Association and has previously served on the board of the Southern Loss Association and Greater Kansas City Claims Association.
