Biography
Heather has been the HIPAA Privacy Officer at U.S. Legal Support, Inc. since 2006 and she has over nineteen years experience in compliance for both healthcare entities and a national consulting firm. She has been the HIPAA Privacy Officer for a large private healthcare company and two litigation support firms and has published several papers on "HIPAA and Discovery". Heather presents continuing legal education seminars on HIPAA and HITECH across the country and provides HIPAA consulting services to law firms and corporations. She received her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in 1991 and her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 1999.
U.S. Legal Support, Inc. is a national litigation support firm with offices in 40 cities across the country. U.S. Legal Support provides deposition services, records retrieval and ESI to law firms, insurance companies and corporations.
