Jill Chesney

Biography

Jill is a Commercial Liability Claim Supervisor for Amerisure.  She works with an amazing team of general liability and auto adjusters handling the Florida Region.  Prior to joining Amerisure in 2004, she worked for national insurance carriers handling a wide range of commercial lines claims.  She primarily handled large exposure bodily injury and property damage claims, and developed her extensive construction defect and manufacturing claims experience.  Today her responsibilities include liability management of franchises for a global restaurant chain.
 
Jill graduated from Florida State University in 1993 with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Risk Management/Insurance and Marketing.  In addition to claims handling, she has developed seminars for Amerisure agents providing contractual risk transfer training and explaining construction-related coverage issues.  She has presented seminars on coverage and construction defects at several national large loss claim conferences.  She was awarded Claim Adjuster of the Year at Amerisure for 2010.  A native Tampanian, she enjoys sharing our natural beauty with local children through Sierra Club’s Inspiring Connections Outdoors program.
