Biography

Jennifer Edgeworth is a trusted adviser, leader in the community, and accomplished trial attorney with over a decade of experience. She has represented Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, individuals, and has defended multi-million dollar claims. Prior to opening her own law practice, she began her career at  Cozen O'Connor, and was then a partner at Hermes Sargent Bates, LLP.  Clients rely on and return to her because she is accessible, places their needs first, and finds solutions for the legal challenges they are facing.

Her practice areas include business litigation, environmental litigation, product liability, and construction litigation.  She has represented a variety of clients including chemical distributors, oil companies, general contractors, product manufacturers, and solid waste disposal companies.  Her representative experience includes defending allegations of CERCLA violations, defending oil companies against allegations by independent contractors of exposure to hydrogen sulfide and benzene, defending shippers of hazardous materials, defending construction defect claims, and negotiating supply contracts.

Mrs. Edgeworth obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, cum laude, from Texas Christian University (TCU), and went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor Degree from Baylor University.  She is also certified in Environmental Risk Management.

Mrs. Edgeworth is a Texas State Chair and Chair for the Southwest Region for the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance.  She often speaks on matters involving trial practice and litigation.  She was recognized as one of the Five Outstanding Young Dallasites of 2010 by the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce, and was honored as the Outstanding Young Professional of 2009 by the TCU Alumni Association.
