Biography
Douglas Casale is Vice President of Chubb's Group Claims Litigation Management Unit and is responsible for the strategic management of Chubb's panel counsel for all lines of business and all US territories. Doug joined Chubb in 2014 and was previously with The Hartford for ten years where he held the roles of Litigation Expense Manager, Manager of Panel Counsel and Trial Attorney with responsibilities including oversight and management of the legal audit unit, management of panel counsel as well as management of panel and non-panel counsel legal spend. Doug also held positions with Infinity Insurance as a Trial Attorney following time in private practice concentrating on insurance defense litigation. Doug earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston University in 1992 and his Juris Doctor Degree from Quinnipiac University School Of Law in 1996. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut since 1996 and with the United States District Court since 1998.
