Biography

ason B. Schlossberg is the founding partner of the Law firm Schlossberg & Umholtz where he practices defending workers’ compensation claims in the Los Angeles office.  He is an attorney who is licensed to practice law in the State of California and Connecticut.  Mr. Schlossberg is a Certified Specialist in workers’ compensation law and has received his Certificate of Specialization from the California Board of Legal Specialization.  Mr. Schlossberg’s practice consists 100% in defending employers, against workers’ compensation claims.  This practice consists of all aspects of workers’ compensation including but not limited to Labor Code Section 132(a) claims, Serious & Willful complaints, and Subrogation issues.  He provides employers with consultative advice as well as a full defense to claims.  He is a frequent speaker at Seminars for the general public as well as for specific employers upon request.  In 2006, 2009, 2010 and 2011 he was listed in Los Angeles Magazine as one of the top “Super Lawyers” in Southern California.  In 2010 he was also listed as a “Super Lawyer” in the Corporate Counsel Edition.  Mr. Schlossberg earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in business from the University of Southern California and a J.D. degree from Emory University.
