Jeffrey Ruple

Biography

Jeff Ruple left his position as a shareholder in a National Law Firm to join Bob and Ric in 2014. He has over 22 years of experience representing individuals and businesses in a broad range of legal issues. Jeff's experience has included defending Fortune 500 Companies to small businesses and individuals in premises liability, product liability, contractual, professional liability, trademark/copyright, employment, real estate and insurance disputes.

Jeff has represented manufacturers, suppliers, contractors in product liability cases for over 19 years.  This includes toxic tort matters such as asbestos and silica cases where Jeff has defended regional suppliers of products, construction companies, premises owners, suppliers of raw asbestos, and manufacturers of friction products, gaskets, boilers, wire and cable products and more.  Jeff also has defended claims related to consumer and industrial products ranging from gas containers, gas grills, candles, fork lifts and even pet leashes.

In the area of insurance disputes,  Jeff was appointed in 2012 by the Ohio State Bar Association to serve on the inaugural Insurance Coverage Specialty Board, whose responsibility was to prepare the first examination for lawyers seeking to be certified specialist in the area of insurance coverage.  He continues to represent his clients with respect to commercial, automobile and homeowners insurance polices.
