Biography
Wendell Large has been trying cases in Maine for more than 25 years. His cases are not limited by subject matter, but have generally included the defense of professional liability claims, (medical and non-medical, and architectural), the defense of product liability claims, the defense of commercial transportation claims, and the prosecution and defense of large exposure personal injury claims.
Wendell has been recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, elected as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and has been Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has served on the governing boards of the Maine Bar Foundation, the Maine State Bar Association (President, 2006), and the bar conference known as the New England Bar Association (President, 2008). He currently serves on the Board of Governors for the American Bar Association, and is the liaison from that Board tot he ABA's Standing Committee on Lawyers Professional Liability, of which he was formerly a member. He is listed in the current editions of "Best Lawyers in America", "New England Super Lawyers", "Benchmark Litigation", and Chambers USA".
