Christine Westberg Dorn

Biography

Christine Westberg Dorn is a partner at Mooney, Lenaghan, Westberg Dorn, L.L.C. in Omaha, Nebraska. She practices in the areas of workers' compensation, general liability, and insurance defense. Prior to entering private practice, Christine spent nearly a decade working in-house for insurance companies. This experience allows her to bring unique perspective to the cases she handles. Christine prides herself on providing an aggressive defense of her clients while maintaining the utmost professionalism, and her favorable case outcomes demonstrate the success of her approach. 

Christine began her legal career as a Prosecutor Intern and later as a Student Defense Attorney as part of Drake Law School’s clinical legal program. Following graduation, Christine entered private practice in civil litigation focusing primarily on environmental and personal injury law. She later transitioned to the corporate insurance environment as a member of the Litigation Management Unit of Chubb Insurance, where she worked as an attorney auditor of complex claims before promotion to Quality Assurance and Training Lead. After relocating to Omaha, Nebraska, she became a Litigation Management Consultant, performing contract work for Chubb Insurance and independent legal auditing projects for corporations. She later accepted a position as in-house counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in the Omaha Field Legal Office, where she defended Iowa workers' compensation and Nebraska general liability claims at all levels of exposure. 

Christine is admitted to practice law in Iowa, Nebraska, Georgia (inactive), and Connecticut.  In addition to CLM, she is a member of the Iowa Defense Counsel Association, the Nebraska Defense Counsel Association, the Iowa Association of Workers' Compensation Lawyers, and DRI.
