Christine Westberg Dorn

Biography

Christine Westberg Dorn is Managing Partner of Mooney, Lenaghan, Westberg Dorn, L.L.C., an insurance defense and medical malpractice defense firm based in Omaha, Nebraska. Christine represents employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in workers' compensation, personal injury, and general liability litigation in Iowa and Nebraska. Prior to entering private practice, she spent nearly a decade working in-house for insurance companies in both litigation and litigation management. This in-house experience provided her a better understanding of her clients and their needs. Christine prides herself on providing an aggressive defense while maintaining the utmost professionalism, and her favorable case outcomes demonstrate the success of her approach. 

Christine began her legal career as a student attorney in Drake Law School’s clinical legal program, which allowed her to practice law under supervision even prior to graduating from law school. Following graduation, Christine entered private practice in civil litigation focused primarily on environmental and personal injury law. She later joined the Litigation Management Unit of Chubb Insurance, where she worked as an attorney auditor of complex claims before promotion to Quality Assurance and Training Lead. After relocating to Omaha, Nebraska, she became a Litigation Management Consultant, performing contract work for Chubb Insurance and independent legal auditing projects for corporations. She later accepted a position as in-house counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in the Omaha Field Legal Office, where she defended Iowa workers' compensation and Nebraska general liability claims at all levels of exposure. 

Christine is admitted to practice law in Iowa, Nebraska, Georgia (inactive), and Connecticut.  In addition to CLM, she is a member of the Iowa Defense Counsel Association, the Nebraska Defense Counsel Association, and the Iowa Association of Workers' Compensation Lawyers.
