Biography
Marie Cheung-Truslow, Esq. is the Principal and Owner of the Law Offices of Marie Cheung-Truslow. She is a trial and appellate counsel concentrating on complex, high stakes, insurance-related litigation, with particular emphasis on multiple line subrogation, first party coverage issues and appraisal and reference proceedings.
Ms. Cheung-Truslow is a 1991 graduate of Boston College Law School, 1985 of Columbia University School of Social Work and 1983 of Notre Dame de Namur University. She is admitted to practice in all courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts and New Hampshire, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and admitted pro hac vice in state and many federal trial and appellate courts throughout the United States.
Ms. Cheung-Truslow has been a speaker at Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) , PLRB/LRBB, IASIU Annual Seminar on Insurance Fraud; International Institute of Loss Adjusters; National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators; National Association of Subrogation Professionals; New Hampshire Adjusters’ Association; Honorable Order of the Blue Goose International; and Property Claims Network on insurance related topics.
Ms. Cheung-Truslow is a member of Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts (AALAM), Boston Bar Association (BBA), (fellow) Council of Litigation Management (CLM), Editorial Board Member of the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, International Association of Special Investigations Units (IASIU), Loss Executives Association (LEA), National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), Order of the Blue Goose International, Bay State Pond Chapter, and Vermont Captive Insurance Association.
