Dermot Leech

Biography

Mr. Leech is currently a Vice President of Construction Defect Claims with Cranmore /Enstar (US). Over his thirty + year career, Mr. Leech has handled a variety of complex claims which for the most part has involved property damage caused by defective construction.  Mr. Leech began his career in 1988 with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Los Angeles, California, handling claims from large accounts including Turner Construction Company. Thereafter, from 1990 to 2008 Mr. Leech was employed by Wausau Insurance Company/Nationwide in Pasadena, California. In furtherance of his career, Mr. Leech then relocated to Chicago and joined Fireman's Fund Insurance Company/Allianz and was employed there until July of 2023. In August of 2023, Mr. Leech joined Cranmore/Enstar in his current role as VP – Construction Defect Claims. This role involves claims oversight and technical direction of TPA’s currently adjusting CD books on behalf of Enstar which includes programs involving policies issued by carriers such as Argo, Aspen, Atrium, QBE, Sussex, Clarendon, Liberty Mutual and others.
