Biography

Mr. Stobbe earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Stobbe is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Alabama, South Carolina, Washington, and Ohio.
Prior to joining S-E-A, he worked for Northrop Grumman Defense System Division as a structural analyst. As a structural analyst, Mr. Stobbe performed system level stress evaluation of equipment performance in the presence of varied static, dynamic, and vibratory environments as well as computational fluid and thermal dynamic analysis.
Mr. Stobbe has conducted research for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), evaluating rivet hole fatigue damage with ultrasonic technology. This work, as well as other academic research, has resulted in several publications and conference proceedings. Further, Mr. Stobbe has received certification through Northwestern University at Evanston, Illinois, in Traffic Accident Reconstruction.
Mr. Stobbe has been with S-E-A since 2009.  He has offered expert opinion as a mechanical engineer and in accident reconstruction in deposition and trial in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Alabama.  Mr. Stobbe has extensive experience with all aspects of commercial and passenger vehicle accident reconstruction and mechanical product and system failures.
