Biography

Jeffrey O. Marshall is Of Counsel in the Dallas office. He has litigation experience in both state and federal courts throughout Texas and the United States. He is a member of the firm’s Trucking, Automobile, Transportation and Cargo Practice Group; Railroad Industry Practice Group; and General Casualty Practice Group.

Jeff’s practice concentrates on trucking and rail claims, product liability, premises liability, general liability, business litigation, industrial accidents, construction defects and other insurance defense matters. The claims he typically handles involve wrongful death and high exposure catastrophic injuries, including brain damage, paralysis and amputation.

Jeff also provides risk management assessments and guidance to insurers and insureds in the areas of claims monitoring and resolution, with a focus on prevention, response and management of casualty claims programs. Jeff’s prior experiences in law enforcement as a patrol officer and drug enforcement agent provide unique skills and perspectives. He is experienced in representing domestic and international clients for all stages of high exposure claims and litigation, including 24-hour emergency on-site accident response, evidentiary investigations, expert development, discovery, dispute resolution, motion practice and trial.
