Melissa Dixon

Biography

Melissa Dixon is a Licensed ICC Practitioner and Property-Casualty Insurance Agent.She has been involved in the transportation industry since 1984. She began her career with National Car Rental and Alsaka Airlines while living in Juneau, AK. Melissa earned her ICC Practitioner's License in 1991, and her Insurance Agent and Broker's licenses in 1989. She has been active in the truck insurance industry for over 25-years. Melissa is President of Dixon Insurance, Inc. and its sister organization, Interstate Truck Licensing (ITL). Both businesses cater to the trucking industry, and are dedicated to the success of their customers, partners and team-members.

Melissa is well-versed with the needs of the trucking and brokerage industry and has been consulting to these industry partners for over twenty years. She assists with the risk management needs of Dixon’s insurance customers, and also with the FHWA, DOT and tax needs of ITL’s clients.

She has held several offices within organizations catering to the transportation industry: SE Vice-President of CATRALA Alaska, President of the Fargo-Moorhead Transportation Club, and President of the Association of Transportation Law Professionals (ATLP). Melissa is currently Second Vice-President of the North Dakota Motor Carrier Association and an Ex-Officio Board Member of the Association of Transportation Law Professionals.
