Biography
Kelly Donaldson has practiced construction law since 1986. He has been a member of the construction law sections of the Houston Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas since the sections were founded in 1987. Mr. Donaldson has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and is listed in Best Lawyers in America in construction and surety law. He has also been recognized as a Superlawyer in construction and surety law. Mr. Donaldson is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts in the Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Donaldson represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, fabricators & manufacturers, architects & engineers and sureties in all manner of claims that arise on construction projects.
Mr. Donaldson received his JD from Southern Methodist University in 1986, and his BA from Southern Methodist University in 1979. He has been married for 31 years, and has 2 sons and a grandson.
