Mark Reed

Biography

Mark joined Reed Transport Services in 2009 as its President & CFO and also works closely with TMS Logistics, Inc., the asset-based sister company of Reed Transport Services. Collectively ReedTMS Logistics is a $70 million transportation services provider with locations in FL, WI and OH. Mark has responsibility for managing customer development, strategic direction, partnership and acquisition development, as well as financial responsibility. Prior to joining Reed Transport Services, Mark was the Audit Practice Leader for the two offices that comprise Grant Thornton’s Central Florida practice (Tampa and Orlando). He began his auditing career with Arthur Andersen before joining Grant Thornton in 2002. With more than 20 years of public accounting and management experience, Mark has extensive expertise working with boards of directors and management teams assisting with financial statement preparation, meeting SEC filing requirements, capital raising, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, internal controls reviews, and general business advise. Mark has a broad range of industry experience including transportation, manufacturing and distribution, technology, construction, healthcare and service industries.
