Heather Clemmensen

Biography

Heather Clemmensen is Senior Coverage Counsel for Navigators Insurance’s U.S. Casualty Division. In her role as Navigators’ only in-house coverage attorney, Heather provides comprehensive coverage and extra-contractual litigation management and oversight as well as multi-jurisdictional strategic advice and counsel to her national Claim client and underwriting business partners, including good faith claim handling, regulatory compliance, and risk transfer. Heather's areas of expertise include general liability, with an emphasis on construction and construction defect, excess, property, professional liability and environmental insurance coverage. Prior to joining Navigators, Heather served as coverage counsel to Travelers Insurance’s general liability construction division in the Western and Southwestern regions. She also successfully represented many clients in a variety of environmental, toxic tort, premises liability and insurance coverage disputes in private practice.
