Biography

Loreitha (Lore) Lacewell is Business Owner of Risk Free Consulting which provides strategic project management for all lines of insurance risk management & casualty claims.  Lore set up her company following her recent retirement as the Senior Risk Manager for Corporate Risk Management & Insurance at the car rental company, Avis Budget Group, Inc.(ABG)  where her role also included managing the company’s Workers’ Compensation claims. In addition she serves as a board member on the CLM WC Advisory Board. 
Prior to her Sr Risk Manager position at ABG, she was the Senior Claims Liability Manager, International overseeing all of the auto liability and accident benefit claims for North America including Canada, Puerto Rico and Virgin Island.
Preceding her arrival at ABG, she held the position of Vice President at third party administrator, The Robert Plan Corporation/Newark Insurance overseeing all the New Jersey claims. 
Lore has 32 years of casualty claims experience of which 28 years are in management. She began her career in 1986 with Royal Insurance as a Customer Service Rep handling auto, general liability, property, products liability, garagekeepers liability, and several other various increasing in responsibility positions including, Litigation Specialist, No Fault Supervisor, and Claims Manager. 
Her passion for reducing fraudulent claims through awareness and team development to combat fraud, has obtained several successful outcomes and overall savings in the millions of dollars.   
Lore holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Seton Hall University as well as her Claims Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) designation.
