Biography
Rhonda Thompson is an Equity Partner with the Law Firm of Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, LLP. Thompson Coe has represented the insurance industry for over 60 years with offices in Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin), St Paul Minnesota, Los Angeles, California and New Orleans, Louisiana. Rhonda’s practice involves direct representation of insurance carriers in defending bad faith lawsuits, including personal and commercial lines property policies as well as evaluating third party coverage issues arising out of liability and auto policies. Rhonda handles cases in both state and federal court for insurance carriers through jury trial but also partners with carriers engaged in other proceedings beyond a traditional litigation track, including appraisal and declaratory judgment actions.
Rhonda’s personal experience includes representation of insurance carriers in high volume litigation arising out of catastrophic weather events and managing those dockets through conclusion.
