Biography

I began my claims carrier in 1993 as an administrative assistant to a Field Claims Manager.  One day I was asked to assist withsome filing and returning phone calls for some adjusters who were out on CAT duty.  I thought to myself "I can do this".  I started as an auto physical damage adjuster and over time have progressed into a multi-line claims professional with experience with catastrophic bodily injury including brain injury and other neuropsychological disorders, personal and advertising injury, dram shop, residential and commercial property damage, premises liability, land movement, environmental/pollution, professional liability, employer liability, sexual abuse, directors and officers, agricultural/farm claims, CGL coverage and construction defect .  With the increasing complexity of the claims came the challenge of managing complex litigation.  I currently hold independent adjuster licenses in 10 western states and have experience in 8 other states.  I joined Nationwide in October of 2014 as a Commercial Technical Director specializing in casualty claims. My job duties include technical oversight of large, complex losses handled by claims associates in Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Ohio.  I will soon be assuming technical oversight of large loss construction defect for the eastern US and continue my focus on South Carolina while adding Florida and Arkansas.
