Biography

Victor A. Chin, M.D., a native of Auburn, Alabama, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University in 2004 where he was awarded the Sylvan Shane Award for Anesthesia. Dr. Chin served as an intern at Mercy Medical Center at the University of Maryland and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University, in 2008. As an anesthesiology resident, he was awarded the MGH Donald P. Todd Award for Excellence in Pain Management. In 2009, he completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine also at Massachusetts General Hospital.
 
Dr. Chin received his board certification in Anesthesiology and an additional subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine from the American Board of Anesthesiology in 2009. Dr. Chin is a partner with The Physicians and practices in our Rome and Calhoun locations.
