Dr Edward Eden is Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University. He attended St Mary’s Hospital Medical School London and continued his training in the United States with medical residencies at Wayne State and SUNY programs. He underwent further training in pulmonary disease at Mt Sinai Hospital NY and research at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center NY. He joined the staff of St Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital and was appointed as Director of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in 2004, a position he currently holds.
He has extensive experience as a medical expert in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He has testified in areas of personal injury including environmental exposure, product liability and medical malpractice. He has been appointed an impartial pulmonary specialist for NYS Workers Compensation Board.
Dr Eden’s has a strong interest in teaching and finds review and discussion of malpractice cases useful as an education tool for trainees.
