Edward Kotite

Biography

Ed has 9 years of claims handling experience in the insurance industry, working as a carrier side claims examiner for several insurance companies, as well as a third party claims administrator and an independent adjuster for property and casualty insurance claims. He has extensive experience handling claims impacting multiple business lines including Casualty, Property, Builders Risk, Auto, Construction Defect, Environmental, and Railroad cases on both a primary and excess level. He handles litigation management on a nationwide basis.  He has experience working with in house Risk Management teams, providing audit support and collaborative defense strategies on an account-wide basis and handles claims on both a primary and excess level.  Ed has also handling CAT losses during his time as an Independent Adjuster, handling claims through “Superstorm Sandy” and several other northeast CAT events.
 
Ed is a graduate of Colby College in Waterville, ME with a BA in English Literature. Prior to insurance, he worked as a teacher in New York City.
