Biography

Traci McGuire - Chief Claims Officer
Ms. McGuire joined AmeriTrust Group in 2012 as a Claims Attorney managing a book of professional liability claims. Thereafter, she served in various roles of claims management, including oversight of the Specialty, Complex and Coverage groups, as well as the Vice President of Casualty Litigation.  Prior to joining AmeriTrust, Ms. McGuire was a litigation partner at an Ohio law firm for 13 years and specialized in business litigation and medical malpractice defense. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Speech Communications from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Thereafter, she received her Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Law. She was a Managing Editor for the OHIO STATE LAW JOURNAL and was awarded the Alumni Special Recognition Award for outstanding achievement in scholarship and leadership. In 2005, she was recognized as a recipient of Business First’s Forty Under 40 Award in Columbus, Ohio. She was recognized as an Ohio Rising Star in 2009, 2011 and 2012. She is Certified in Mediation by the Institute for Conflict Management. Ms. McGuire has also served as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Communication at Otterbein University and taught Business, Interpersonal and Organizational Communication courses.
Ms. McGuire has served as an author, speaker or panelist for industry events.
