Biography
Casimir Maliszewski is a retired Litigation and Casualty Claim Director for Florida's sscond largest homeowner’s insurance company. Casimir is a graduate of the University of North Florida. Casimir holds the CLMP and CCP designations offered by the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), and currently serves on the CLM’s National Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee as well as its Adjuster Training Courses subcommittee, Natioonal Religious and Non-Profit Committee, and is Secretary of the CLM’s regional North Florida Chapter.
Casimir has over twenty five years of experience in property and causality insurance with a focus in litigation management and complex claims settlements. In his last role, Casimir provided guidance to his company concerning legal trends, litigation and trial strategy, litigation fiscal management, vendor fiscal management and audits, and managed a large team of litigation specialists, casualty claim professionals and a TPA entities at an $100mil(indem)/$25mil(exp) operation. Casimir worked with SIU, Product Development, Underwriting and the Specialty Insurance Programs for his company and its partners, as well as with its reinsurers and partners.
Casimir works with industry professionals, attorneys, and adjusters to better develop their partnerships leading to successful outcomes for all involved. Casimir is now the Owner and Principal of LEO Mediations, LLC providing ADR services throughout Florida on a myriad of lines and cases.
