Biography

Yvonne Hill-Planter has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years.  Ms. Hill-Planter is currently the Director of Claims - Programs & Captives at Skyward Specialty Insurance responsible for providing TPA oversight on complex, specialized and/or high exposure claims for our Captive and Programs business. Her experience includes leadership roles in both the insurance carrier and TPA sectors.  Prior to Skyward, Ms. Hill-Planter was the Claims Director for a national retailer at Sedgwick.  She also was the Branch Manager at Gallagher Bassett managing their National Liability Branch.  Ms. Hill-Planter was also the Associate Claims Manager with St Paul Travelers.  In these roles she was responsible for managing the claims department with oversight of large claims across several lines of business including general liability, product liability, construction, auto, druggist liability and employment practices liability. 
Ms. Hill-Planter attends the University of Houston - Downtown earning her degree in Insurance and Risk Management.  She earned her AIC designation and is working towards her CPCU.  Ms. Hill-Planter is a fellow of the Claims Litigation Management Society (CLM), and is a member of the Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS).
