Keith Phillips

Biography

Keith Phillips is an Assistant Vice-President for AXIS in the MGA unit.
Keith began his insurance career in 1990 with Nationwide Insurance Company as a liability field representative and was promoted through the ranks to Claims Specialist II.  In 1999, he went to work for Atlantic Mutual Insurance as a Liability Claims Specialist. The caseload was primarily catastrophic bodily injury claims, CD and other files with significant coverage issues. In 2004, Keith joined ACE Westchester Fire Insurance Company where he supervised complex multiparty litigation involving NY Labor Law and CD claims.
In 2008, Keith joined AXIS where he supervised the TPA responsible a case load of 900 CD claims. Additionally, he directly handled a pending of professional liability (architects and engineers) and contractor’s pollution liability claims.  Recently, Keith moved into the MGA unit and is supervising claims involving CGL, Property, Inland Marine, Business Auto and Professional Liability.
Keith has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Valdosta State University and obtained the CPCU designation  in 1998.
