Biography

Michelle Leighton is a Partner and National Claims Advocacy & Consulting Leader at Conner Strong & Buckelew. She serves as a strategic claims advocate, guiding clients through every stage of the claims process. Her role includes developing and implementing claims management programs and providing comprehensive technical expertise on complex claims matters. Her portfolio of accounts spans a wide range of industries, with a strong focus on construction and controlled insurance programs, public entities, higher education, and hospitality and gaming. Michelle is also an active member of Conner Strong & Buckelew’s Construction Practice Group, Public Entity Practice Group, and Workers' Compensation Center of Excellence. Prior to joining Conner Strong & Buckelew, Michelle served as Vice President of Claims for The Graham Company, a Philadelphia-based brokerage. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Administration from Temple University and the Associate in Claims designation.
