Biography
Kent Lawson has worked in the insurance industry since 1993. He began his career as a trial attorney with a private firm trying 10 cases to a jury verdict. Since 1998 he has worked for E&S insurance companies as a casualty claims examiner, Property, Casualty and Workers Compensation claims manager and as Vice President of Claims, leading Property, Casualty, Workers Compensation, Contract Surety, Commercial Surety and Assumed Reinsurance lines of business. He is currently a Claims Supervisor at Colony Specialty Insurance managing a team handling litigated and non litigated primary and excess casualty claims. He has mediated large and small cases pre-litigation and in litigation nationwide.
