Robert Adams

Biography

Mr. Adams is a certified safety professional and certified industrial hygienist. He is s Principal at Ramboll US Corporation in Portland OR.  He has an M.S. in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Biology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.  He has over 30 years of experience in occupational health and safety, with particular emphasis on occupational health exposure and risk assessment; industrial hygiene and exposure science; compliance auditing; asbestos, lead and microbiological remediation; health and safety due diligence; emergency preparedness; health and safety program management; hazardous materials; and indoor environmental quality. He has provided expert support in quantitative and qualitative exposure analysis, assessment and reconstruction, and has served as an expert on a range of matters related to occupational exposures to asbestos, lead, mold and solvents. He also managed a multidisciplinary EHS team during the WTC crisis when he was the Director of EHS for NYC’s Department of Design and Construction. He is a Fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and a Diplomate of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. He has been an adjunct professor at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
