Biography

Cynthia has over 30 years of experience representing Fortune 500 companies, governmental entities, and policyholders. She focuses her litigation practice on multi-party, complex construction defect actions including commercial, mixed-use, residential construction, and school districts, and has a diverse practice defending clients in general liability matters, products liability, catastrophic loss, bodily injury, traumatic brain injury, and wrongful death claims. She has experience with FELA and in the energy industry, particularly with oil and gas and solar. Additionally, Cynthia often acts as monitoring counsel for her clients, managing their litigation nationwide. She is a national consultant in the development of clients’ contract negotiations, which serve to align contract terms with insurance provisions. Prior to joining Kahana Feld, Cynthia founded Tarle Law in 2011 and served as managing partner for the firm’s four offices, litigating and serving clients across California and Texas. An established thought leader, she frequently speaks to groups nationally on topics of insurance, contracts and construction loss control mechanisms, risk transfer, and litigation.
