Biography
Carol Threlkeld is a VP in the LPL group of Great American's Professional Liability Division. She was previously an AVP of Claims at Berkley Select handling professional liability coverage and claims, particularly LPL, APL, D&O, and EPL coverages. Previously, she managed bad faith litigation within the General Counsel's office of Allianz after transitioning there from the Fireman’s Fund Coverage Counsel group within the Chicago office. Her prior experience includes advising insurance clients as coverage counsel in private practice, and analyzing coverage and defending claims as a Mass Litigation Claims Specialist for Zurich Insurance Company, where her area of specialty was mass tort litigation against Zurich’s Global Corporate clients. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1995, a Master of Arts degree in Literature from New Mexico State University in 1999, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2002, where she attended on a scholarship for academic merit.
