Biography
Jason Daniel Feld, Esq. is a founding partner of Kahana & Feld, LLP where he chairs the insurance defense and real estate/construction litigation practice group. Mr. Feld is an AV Preeminent Rated civil litigator specializing in the defense of homebuilders, contractors, developers, government entities and real estate professionals primarily in construction defect, general liability, insurance defense, governmental claims, environmental claims, construction accident and real estate matters. Mr. Feld serves as panel counsel for many prominent insurance carriers, including Markel, Fireman’s Fund, Western World/Tudor Insurance, United Specialty/AmTrust, Certain Underwriters-Lloyds, London and Houston Casualty Insurance Co. He also serves as personal counsel to several California homebuilders and general contractors.
Mr. Feld is a statewide leader in construction and active industry speaker. Mr. Feld has been recognized as a Rising Star from 2009-2011 by Super Lawyers Magazine, as well as a featured attorney in the Orange County Lawyer Journal. Mr. Feld is licensed to practice law in the States of California, Arizona and Texas and represents clients throughout these jurisdictions. He is also admitted to the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and US District Courts for the Southern & Central Districts of California and Northern District of Texas. Mr. Feld is also an active member of the Orange County Bar Association, OCJBA, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, and the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance. Mr. Feld graduated cum laude from the University of Houston and Whittier Law School. While in law school, Mr. Feld served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Alex Kozinski, US Court of Appeals Judge for the Ninth Circuit, as well as a member of the Law Review, Trial Advocacy Honors Board and Joseph A. Ball/Clarence S. Hunt Inns of Court.
