W. Brett Mason

Biography

W. Brett Mason is an AV-rated Member of Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann L.L.C.  He helps insurance companies and self insureds handle law suits that would otherwise distract them from what matters most.  He has particular experience in defending professional liablity claims, directors and officers libility claims, maritime property and personal injury claims and mass torts resulting from chemical exposure and catastrophic accidents.  Mr. Mason is a former Magister of the Wex Malone American Inns of Court, a former President of the Propeller Club Port of New Orleans and sits on its Board of Governors.  He is also an active member of the Transportation Lawyers Association, Federal Bar Association, Maritime Law Association of the United States, International Freight Forwarders and Custom Brokers Association of New Orleans, and the Invironmental Law Institute, Mr. Mason received his LL.M., in Admiralty Law, and J.D. from Tulane School of Law and his B.A. from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virgina.  If you have a matter you think Mr. Mason may be able to help with please give him a call or shoot him an email.  Direct is 225.490.5812; email  bmason@stonepigman.com.
