Biography
Mr. Vasterling joined Marsh on June 1, 1999. He is the Claims Manager and Senior Claim Advisor in the Dallas, TX office. He delivers consulting, claim advocacy and coverage dispute resolution for national and global Marsh clients including; retail, hospitality, construction, manufacturing, non-profit, and telecommunication industries. Mr. Vasterling has 35 years’ experience in insurance related industries. Prior to joining Marsh, He held the position of Structured Settlement Consultant, where he provided structured settlement expertise during mediations and settlement conferences. Mr. Vasterling also spent 19 years with a major P&C insurer, where he held positions including; adjuster, regional claim supervisor, and multi-state litigation manager where he was responsible for controlling and supervising auto liability, general liability, workers’ compensation and maritime litigation. Mr. Vasterling previously served on the inter-company arbitration panel as an arbitrator. He holds his CPCU and AIM designations from the American Institute of Property and Liability Underwriters. He holds an Adjusters license, Life, Health and Accident license along with being a Legal Recording Agent. Marsh is part of the family of Marsh & McLennan Companies.
