Biography

Gina M. Jacobs is a Partner in the firm’s Orlando office where she leads the workers’ compensation department. Ms. Jacobs is certified by the State of Florida, Department of Financial Services, as an instructor for workers’ compensation Continuing Education credits for claims adjusters. Before joining CSK, Ms. Jacobs was the Managing Attorney for the Orlando and Tampa offices of a national workers’ compensation firm. She is the recipient of a 2012, 2013, and 2014 Excellence Award and the Making a Difference Award for 2014, from InTouch Magazine, recognized for superior legal services in the workers’ compensation industry. Ms. Jacobs has also been recognized as one of Florida’s Top 40 under 40 attorneys by The National Black Lawyers for 2016.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Jacobs graduated cum laude from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Communication. Thereafter, she attended Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center where she received her Juris Doctor degree and graduated with pro bono honors. While in law school, she was first runner up for the Rising Star Scholarship from the Broward County Women Lawyers Association and held the distinguished honor of being the commencement speaker at her law school graduation. Before law school, Ms. Jacobs worked as a claims adjuster for over 13 years for a national workers’ compensation carrier and two global third party administrators assigned to key accounts and catastrophic cases.
