Anthony Strasius

Biography

Anthony P. Strasius is the Managing Partner of the Miami and West Palm Beach offices of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker LLP. His legal practice focuses on general liability defense, with specialties in products liability defense of all types (automotive, boats, computers, construction equipment, electronics, marine products, machinery, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, recreational products, vehicles, etc.) and professional liability defense (accountants, architects, engineers, insurance professionals, lawyers, and real estate professionals). Mr. Strasius has tried over 50 trials and arbitrations successfully in these areas, and he is a frequent lecturer and author as well. He serves as panel and/or approved counsel for several major corporations and insurance companies, including corporations and companies located in England, France, Germany and Mexico. He is the recipient of several honors and awards, and he is particularly proud to have received the John Edward Smith Child Advocacy Award for pro bono work for Lawyers for Children America. Mr. Strasius attended the University of Michigan (B.A. ’90), Marquette University Law School (J.D., ’93), and the Dickinson School of Law International Law Program, and is admitted in the Florida Bar, the Wisconsin Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeal. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and the Dade County Bar Association.
